Implement and oversee Children’s Sunday Morning Ministry and Midweek Kids programs

maintain ministry files, classrooms and curriculum

HEAD OF SCHOOL: Boxford Academy provides a challenging educational experience informed by a Christian worldview to students in Pre-K3 through Grade 5. 

The Head of School is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the school, as well as overseeing faculty and staff, curriculum and instruction, and admissions.  The Head of School also serves as the school’s chief spokesperson and fundraiser and is an ex-officio member of the Academy’s Board of Trustees as well as all board subcommittees.  The Head of School also will be assigned part-time teaching responsibilities that will be based on the particular candidate’s expertise. 

Qualifications: Masters Degree with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the elementary level, experience in school administration, a willingness to work closely with the trustees as well as other members of the school’s administrative team, possession of strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, and significant experience in an independent Christian school.  Must have a commitment to, ability to articulate, and experience in implementing classical/traditional Christian educational philosophy.  Experience in marketing and fundraising a plus.
